Main directions of scientific research and technological design:

- The creation of new highly effective technologies of enrichment and processing of various types of ores, industrial raw materials and wastes of mining and metallurgy, fuel and energy complex of the Republic of Kazakhstan;

- Design enterprises of mining, chemical and other industries;

- Automation of technological processes using the latest means of control, management and software;

- The creation of instruments for industrial wastewater treatment of non-ferrous metallurgy and chemical industry and drinking water;

- Work on the assessment of the impact on the environment planned and existing enterprises, including the development of sections "assessment of the impact on the environment" and "environmental protection" as part of pre-project and project documentation.
